Fantastic place. Fantastic B&B, beautifully located on the beach of Lake Winnipeg, very cozy and very fully furnished. You can stay here completely self-sufficient. The special, ever-changing breakfast is put in the fridge with a nice inspiring note with which you can start the day well. Dietary requirements are well taken into account. Very friendly owners who alerted us to the Northern Lights in the evening: a very impressive experience. A beautiful place!

I had an amazing stay with my boyfriend for our 2 year anniversary!! So much attention to the little details and great communication with us for any and all questions!

The place was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. It has a basic kitchen so you do not have to always go out to eat in the restaurants. There is a deck and screened gazebo for eating outdoors and enjoying the beautiful views. It was wonderful to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning and enjoy the beautiful views. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach, sitting at the end of the pier to enjoy the Northern Lights, and a hot tub every evening. Eleanore and Randy are great host and are available if needed and offer information about the area. It was a great place to explore Gimli, Winnipeg Beach and the trails in the provincial park.

Enjoyable mid-week autumn getaway in a private cabin situated in a quiet neighbourhood near the lake. My husband, my sister & I took an impromptu mid-week getaway to explore Winnipeg Beach and Gimli. We found Aaron’s cabin near the lake to be a great base for that purpose. The cabin was clean & spacious. We found it bit dark inside due to wall colour, shade from an attached porch & the mainly overcast weather; better lighting in the living room for reading would’ve been appreciated. All of the necessities were provided, with no surprises. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. Our favourite spot when not out & about was the screened gazebo overlooking the private backyard; given the mild weather, we had most of our meals there, lingering in the comfy chairs & enjoying the ambiance. A short stroll from the cabin there was access to the lakeshore & the pier which proved a lovely spot for a morning coffee or a before supper beverage. The hosts were very gracious & nearby if we had needed them.

A well thought out B&B where we had everything we needed and more! We stayed at the Lake Gardenview Room. It was beautiful! Screened in private deck that has trees and bushes around it and where birds often visited. The hot tub was amazing! The pier has seating available where we watched the sunset. We were also able to get Jake to go for a quick swim in the lake. Eleanore and Randy were gracious and attentive hosts! Always there to help and answer any questions we had. This is a well thought out B&B where we had everything we needed and more! Will definitely be back to Aron's on the Lake again to book the Lake Gardenview Room! Thank you Eleanore and Randy!

Beautiful b&b at the lake. Wake up to the sound of the waves, swim in the lake, and warm up in the jacuzzi. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful spot in Manitoba. And we enjoyed the most delicious breakfast. Jake the dog immediately befriended our daughters. Aaron's on the Lake is a highly recommended place to stay and unwind.

Perfect Romantic Retreat We celebrated our anniversary in the Gardenview Room. It was clean and beautifully decorated and appointed. We enjoyed the boxed breakfasts and the attentive hosts, as well as the hot tub and long walk on the beach. I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful property with gracious hosts.

A Great Getaway We wanted to get out of the city for a few days and Aaron’s on the Lake was the perfect place. It’s peaceful and the view is amazing. We thought we’d only use our cabin to sleep in and do lots of traveling around the area, but we soon realized this was the perfect spot to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Randy and Eleanore are wonderful hosts and they have built something very special. We will be back.

I loved my stay at Aaron’s on the Lake! It is wonderfully inviting, comfortable, and pretty. Randy and Eleanore are so nice, they really made me feel at home for my solo 2 night stay in the garden view room. The porch of the garden view room is fabulous, by the way, and reminds me of beach houses from back in the day. Breakfast basket was yummy each day, and as I tend to get up early, I could eat breakfast in my room at my leisure. I had plenty of coffee to brew, and lots of cream to add to it.
It’s a very quiet, peaceful part of the world, up there along the shores of lake Winnipeg. It was a great place to decompress after being around a bunch of people in my touristy travels. There isn’t much to “do” up there, but it’s the perfect place to be.
Randy steered me to the perfect walleye/pickerel fillet, as well. Ask him about where.
I loved everything about my stay here, and would recommend it to everyone.
