We were in Matlock for a funeral and we found it wonderful to be able to go back to Eleanores after a long day of planning and preparing.
It was a wonderful, peaceful oasis where we were able to rest and recharge. Breakfasts were homemade , delicious and very much appreciated. Thank you Randy and Eleanore!

I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone and be confident in doing so. Deanna (Eleanore’s sister) was our host and point of contact during our stay, for lack of better words, she is awesome. Most notably, she reached out to us by way of text and phone call to warn us of an upcoming storm that we would be driving through on our way there. Stayed up well into the late hours of the night and checked in with us straight away in the morning to make sure everything was okay. It may seem a small kindness to some, but the idea of a business owner checking in on costumers before they even arrive is really cool. 10/10 experience.

Great spot right on the lake easy access to get out ice fishing, would definitely recommend!

We found Aaron's on the Lake B&B while looking for a quiet weekend get away for our very first trip to Canada. The Lakeview room was incredible! They thought of everything, down to the smallest details! Randy met us upon arrival and showed us everything and was very accommodating! The room was extremely clean and cozy, with a stunning view of the lake! Eleanore sent us an extensive list of recommendations for restaurants and places in town and in near by places. We loved the places that we went and adored Matlock and Gimli! The hot tub was extremely enjoyable and they provided towels, robes and slippers! I highly recommend the Lakeview room, as well as Randy and Eleanore as hosts! We hope to return in the summer months!

The room is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the hosts are very kind.

We had a great time at Eleanore and Randy’s place. It was exactly what we were looking for for a peaceful weekend away. The frozen lake view was amazing - we were able to enjoy the hot tub with the beautiful view, and watch the sunrise by the lake while enjoying the warmth of the fire pit.

Spending time at Aaron’s was a good decision we made. It was serene and beautiful. Our host, Randy and Eleanore were great and I must say that the breakfasts served were so delicious and perfect. They are lovely couple that value relationships and it was a splendid time spent with them. The room as everything you need to be comfortable and the bed is great. Looking forward to another time to get away.😍

Essential Ceremony Package Upon arrival, the host, Eleanore was there to greet us (with the sweetest dog named Jake) and show us to our room. The room was very cozy, very clean, and very charming! I can imagine that the veranda would be a relaxing space to sit in summer. The next day we had our intimate, essential wedding ceremony beside the lake. It was absolutely perfect simple and sweet! Eleanore did a wonderful job as an officiant and made us feel so comfortable and at ease.
We were able to enjoy the hot tub which was clean and relaxing. We are looking forward to trying out the lakeview room in the summer and enjoying the view of the lake from the lovely gazebo. Randy and Eleanore were amazing hosts and we would 100% recommend staying here and would also recommend the essential wedding package for anyone looking for something simple, sweet, and intimate.
